Graphic design: Interview with Michael Hawkey (collaboration with A Guy Called Minty)

A few words with Michael Hawkey (A Guy Called Minty)

Introduce yourself..
My name is Michael Hawkey and I’m 32 from south Wales.
I love painting drawing, anything to do with art that catches my eye, my mac, football and fashion.

What does the word “style” means to you Michael?“Style” means to me confidence in yourself and casually wearing clothes that makes you look good but you haven’t tried hard to look this way.

Favourite music?
Love indie, ska anything that makes you feel good... obsessed with the beatles and Ian brown... probably worlds apart in music style... but I like searching for new music too... currently listening too digitalism...

Favourite trainers?Obsessed with vintage adidas rare trainers... love the usual adidas dublins, stockholms etc but all time favourites would be adidas gazelle indoors... size 7 please...

What’s your football team?Love cardiff city but dont go down no where near as much
as is like to see them.

Keep up the good work Michael!!!

Bicycles, Subcultures and Style....

Ok, we re supposed to be into scooters....but....Fuel price? Global warming? Desire to live a healtier life style...? Who knows..
What we see is that this style  is part  of  "subcultural scenes" and spill over often  into  the "mainstream"  showing it's trendy side....

The kids are alright

Three Stroke Kids Are Alright"is the name of a campaign designed by Three Stroke Porductions clothing to raise funds and awareness at some of the various rallies and gigs that we sponsor throughout the year.

Some years ago at Three Stroke we decided to start a project called "Three Stroke Kids Are Alright." It is a campaign designed to raise funds and awareness at some of the various rallies and gigs that we sponsor throughout the year.
Its sole aim is to help underprivileged children living in depressed areas around the ...world. Since 2004 Three Stroke Productions  has taken part in a number projects in countries such as Brazil, Italy, and the UK. In November 2009 we sent 200 pieces of clothing, such as Harrington Jackets, Hoodies, and Polo Shirts to the areas of Roccalumera, and Scaletta Zanclea. Two areas within the city of Messina, Italy. Both of these places were badly affected by the Messina floods and mudslides that occurred on the 1st & 2nd October 2009.

Three Stroke Productions: English Style, Italian Made

Three Stroke Productions: English Style Italian Made

Our collection is designed in London, then manufactured in Italy. We all share the same values of style, quality and respect. Our Italian parteners are one  of the few companies left in the Italy Northeast
following the exodus to the East of many labels and the subsequent sad

closure of many family-run businesses in the clothes manufacturing
industry.
